Idris Elba has taken a break from enjoying his time in Liverpool to issue a career announcement.
The Wire star is currently in Merseyside filming blockbuster action comedy, Heads of State. The 50-year-old has been spotted out and about in the city as he visited Papillon restaurant on Hope Street.
The much loved restaurant shared a snap of the actor on its Instagram page with the caption: "We had the pleasure of serving @idriselba last night for dinner and drinks, a true gentleman!"

Idris has taken to his own social media account today to announce a completely new career venture away from the world of acting. He said: "Announcing the launch of @wearesillyface... Brought to you by myself and @marcboyan, we are injecting the fun back into content creation and marketing for brands.
"SillyFace. Serious Business."
Heads of State also stars John Cena and Priyanka Chopra. The WWE superstar has been spotted maintaining his physique at JD gyms and appeared to embrace Liverpool culture as he shared a snap of The Beatles on his Instagram.
Priyanka has also been enjoying her stay in Liverpool as she was photographed at Otterspool Adventure with husband, Nick Jonas, and their young daughter.
