IDF Special Forces Conduct Precise Operation Inside Nasser Hospital in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a precise and limited operation inside Nasser Hospital, located in the western part of Khan Yunis in Gaza. The IDF believes that Hamas fighters may be hiding inside the hospital and that the bodies of Israeli hostages might be buried there. This operation comes after the IDF ordered hundreds of displaced civilians to leave the hospital, which they had been using as a shelter.

The Al Nasser Hospital has been a significant focus of IDF military operations over the past three weeks. The western part of Khan Yunis has been a target for IDF actions against Hamas. The IDF has stated that they received information from sources and released hostages, indicating that hostages were held at the hospital and that their bodies might be buried there.

This is not the first time the IDF has conducted operations inside hospitals in Gaza. In previous instances, the IDF has searched hospital compounds where bodies have been buried due to the inability of hospital staff to reach cemeteries safely. The IDF has undertaken this process to check if any hostages are among the deceased.

Eyewitness reports and video footage recorded by journalists inside the hospital show smoke, dust, and debris, indicating partial collapse within the hospital. The orthopedic room appears to have been affected, and medical staff are seen trying to treat patients amidst the chaos. The hissing sound heard in the background is the ruptured oxygen supply, according to Palestinian health officials. Tragically, one person has been reported killed, and there are concerns about the oxygen supply for patients in the hospital's intensive care unit.

Hospital officials have expressed concerns about the safety of leaving the premises, stating that IDF snipers have targeted individuals attempting to evacuate. Yesterday, hundreds of people formed a queue to leave the hospital, but it was hindered by the alleged sniper fire. The IDF's usual protocol is to evacuate the hospital and its staff, while filtering out individuals suspected of being Hamas operatives. However, from the Palestinian perspective, the hospital is currently not functioning properly amidst the ongoing violence.

The IDF maintains that this operation is necessary to eliminate the threat posed by Hamas fighters and retrieve the bodies of potential Israeli hostages. The situation within Nasser Hospital remains tense, with civilians seeking safety and medical support amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The IDF's actions will continue to be closely monitored by international observers and humanitarian organizations, who will strive to ensure the protection of civilian lives and the delivery of essential healthcare services in the area.
