On April 15, Idaho Governor Brad Little (R) extended the statewide stay home order through April 30. The order first went into effect on March 25 and was set to expire on April 15.
The order relaxes restrictions on some businesses previously considered non-essential, so long as those businesses can offer curbside services. Additionally, the order requires out-of-state visitors to self-quarantine for 14 days. Essential workers are exempt from the travel restriction.
So far, 43 states have issued stay-at-home or shelter-in-place orders to residents. Although the names of the orders—shelter-in-place, stay-at-home, stay home, stay safe—vary from state to state, they include at least two common elements: the closure of nonessential businesses and requesting all residents to stay home except for essential trips.
