IDA gives green signal for three new flyovers in Indore

INDORE: Indore Development Authority (IDA’s) board-of-directors on Wednesday gave principal approval to construct a flyover at Luvkush, Futi Kothi and Bhawarkuan Square while a joint committee, based on the High Court’s instructions, has been formed to examine alleged violation of lease terms by Sayaji Hotel.

“In today’s meeting of board-of-directors, administrative approval for Luvkush, Futi Kothi and Bhawarkuan Square were given while the same process for a flyover at Khajrana Square was earlier sanctioned” IDA chairman Jaypal Singh Chawda said.

He added that meanwhile, IDA has planned to perform the foundation stone laying ceremony for TPS-1,TPS-3 and TPS-8 within next couple of days.

“MR-12 as part of TPS-8 is being constructed by dividing the same into four parts while the entire project is expected to be completed in next 8-10 months” Chawda said, adding that there are however some structures and encroachments that need to be removed and the same is likely to delay the project to some extent.

According to Chawda, based on the High Court’s instructions, a committee composed of IDA,PWD, IMC and other departments concerned has been formed to probe alleged violations of lease terms by Sayaji Hotel by constructing a market and other issues, if any.
