Leeds United fans absolutely love this makeover to a classic title winning shirt

Leeds United’s iconic 1973/74 title winning shirt has received a makeover ahead of the club’s centenary.

A big programme of events is lined up to mark the Elland Road club’s 100th birthday on Thursday, October 17.

The popular Bands FC Twitter account has shown their support to the side during this special week by reworking the First Division title shirt with a new Love badge - in another of their trademark football and music crossovers.

The concept kit seems to have been well-received by supporters with many saying they’ll be keen to buy them should they ever go on sale.

This week’s Leeds United centenary celebrations will see the club host a big party in Millennium Square. It will feature guest appearances by the first team, club legends and musical performances.
