Iconic Conor McGregor quote features in new song released by controversial rapper Tory Lanez

Conor McGregor features on a new song by controversial rapping star Tory Lanez who released his new album on Thursday.

McGregor is busy on social media at the moment encouraging his followers to adhere to government advice but has also popped up in a rap track.

The UFC superstar's infamous "Absolutely nobody" quote opens the song titled "Stupid Again".

After that 15 second intro, the Canadian rapper takes over, although the explicit filled track may not be suitable to any younger McGregor fans.

For those who don't know Tory Lanez, he is a 27-year-old Canadian rapper who is a big name in the North American scene.

The artist has over 8 million Instagram followers and more than 15 million monthly listeners on music streaming app Spotify.

The star is not without controversy however having recently been banned off social media platform Instagram Live for his behaviour on the videos.

McGregor on the other hand has been largely out of the spotlight recently and has been concentrating on his fitness as well as getting his followers to adhere to government restrictions.

In an Instagram on Thursday with an aerial view of Ireland the Crumlin native said: "Feast your eyes on the finest land the world has ever known. The great land of the Emerald Isle of Ireland. ‬

"‪É a chur ar an bpunt, we find it all ways here.‬ And always, too. 40 shades of green, Johnny said. Mr. Cash himself. Wow.

"We will rise and we will prosper! For it is all we know."
