'Iconic' church converted into offices goes up for sale in South Bristol

An 'iconic' former church which is now an office block has gone up for sale. The building will be a familiar sight to people in South Bristol, as it is situated just off the Bedminster Bridge Roundabout on Coronation Road.

Victorian House has been put on the market by Bristol-based property agents Burston Cook, although no price is currently listed for it. Pictures on Rightmove show that inside the building, there are modern offices which are at odds with the outside of the building.

According to documents relating to the building on Bristol City Council's planning website, the Grade II listed building dates back to 1830. It used to be a congressional chapel before it was converted into privately let offices.

It is two storeys high, although it also has a basement which was formerly a school room in the church. And according to a description of the building on Burston Cook's website, the listing offers "a rare opportunity to purchase an iconic and impressive detached building providing open plan studio style office space, with excellent on site car parking."
