Iconic Chris Evans TV show set for Channel 4 return

  • TFI Friday, the iconic Nineties entertainment programme, is set to return to Channel 4 with long-time host Chris Evans.
  • Channel 4 has acquired six episodes of TFI Friday Unplugged, a format previously hosted by Evans on Virgin Radio's YouTube channel.
  • The first episode of the revived series on Channel 4 is scheduled to air on Friday 17 April.
  • Initial guests for the return include musicians Sam Ryder, Shreya Ghoshal, and Jack Savoretti, alongside comedian Sindhu Vee and actors Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo.
  • TFI Friday originally ran from 1996 to 2000, known for its unpredictable mix of celebrity interviews, live music, and competitions.
