Iconic American clothing brand to finally open long-awaited store in Blanchardstown Centre

Blanchardstown centre is set to be home to one of the iconic American clothing brands almost two years after it was originally announced.

Hollister, which is part of the Abercrombie & Fitch brand, initially confirmed plans to move into Blanchardstown Centre in 2019.

The highly successful clothing brand has signed a 10-year lease on the unit in the centre.

It will be located just a few units down from what was one of the cornerstone stores of Blanchardstown Centre, namely Debenhams.

Jobs for the new store have now been posted on the Blanchardstown Centre website.

Three positions are currently advertised. They are stock associate, brand representative and assistant manager positions.

This new store opening will be coming just days after JD sports opened their brand new store in the centre.

It will replace their old outlet and will employ as many as 40 people.

A spokesperson for JD said: “We’re delighted to open a new JD store in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

“This new store will deliver a best-in-class experience for shoppers and we’re looking forward to welcoming you.
