Iceland slashes food prices by 50 cent - including Ben & Jerry's fresh fruit and veg and frozen pizzas

Iceland is launching a 50 per cent off grocery sale, so shoppers can make savings on their food shop.

Rather than reducing the price of carrots by a few pennies, Iceland is slashing the price some of its best-selling products - including frozen pizzas, Ben & Jerry's ice cream and even avocados.

The new  50 per cent off price tags  will be available both  online  and in store, although Iceland does note that stock may not be replenished when items sell out, which means once it's gone, it's gone, the Mirror reports .

    • Iceland Thin & Crispy Chicken Fajita Pizza, 50p (was £1)
    • Iceland Crispy Potato Slices, 50p (was £1)
    • Iceland Luxury 2pk Chicken & Ham Pies, £1.25 (was £2)
    • Iceland Avocado Halves, £1.50 (was £3)
    • Iceland Gin & Tonic Popsicles 4pk, £1 (was £2)
    • Iceland Classic Chicken, Bacon & Leek with Potatoes, £1 (was £2)
    • Iceland Stonebaked Four Cheese Pizza, 79p (was £1.59)
    • Ben & Jerry's Moo-phoria Salted Caramel Brownie, £2 (was £4.20)

The huge half price sale also coincides with the supermarket's new Gino D'Acampo range, which launched in stores and online earlier this week.
