Iceland selling the UK's hottest supermarket sausages made with Ghost Chilli

Iceland has announced it is now selling the UK's hottest supermarket sausages.

The supermarket's new Ghost Chilli Pork Sausages are the latest addition to the Scarily Spicy range.

Iceland's bangers are laced with Ghost Chilli, which scores up to more than 1 million units on the Scoville Scale and is around 100 times hotter than a mere jalapeño.

Customers can purchase a bag of 10 limited-edition bangers for just £2.25 and they are so hot they come with a warning label.

The store has extended its popular Scarily Spicy range to sausages (Iceland)

The sausages are made from prime pork meat and packed with diced jalapeño and ghost chilli powder for a double onslaught of mouth-ruining capsaicin.

Although not quite as hot as the sausages, Iceland is also selling Jalapeno Beef Koftas.

The spicy BBQ product is mixed with jalapeño peppers, breadcrumbs, Cheddar cheese and a herby seasoning, all of which is served on a wooden skewer.

Currently in the Scarily Spicy range is:

Scarily Spicy Ghost Chilli Pork Sausages (£2.25, 500g)

Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Chilli Chicken Wings (£3.00, 900g)

Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Quarter Pounders

Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Chicken Breast Fillet Chunks (£3.00, 500g)

Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Chicken Breast Fillet Strips (£3.00, 540g)
