Iceland's new super spicy chicken wings are so hot you need to wear gloves

If you think the black sauce at Nando's is light work, it's about time you got your hands on Iceland's latest super spicy chicken wings, which are apparently so hot, that you need to wear gloves to eat them.

Upon launching them back in Iceland dubbed them the spiciest chicken wings in the UK, with the fiery meat scoring a whopping 720,000 on the Scoville Scale.

Whilst many of us were originally sceptical about such a bold statement, the wings have now been rated by one of the world’s largest YouTube chilli channels.

The pack of chicken wings states that you should wear gloves when cooking the wings, with the brave spice fans donning a pair of latex blue ones to taste test the spicy snack.

Made with the spiciest chilli in the world - the infamous Carolina Reaper - the wings are 230 times hotter than a jalapeño pepper.

In the Youtube video, the two testers – Jay Webley, 43, and Dave Smith, 47, both from Bristol - compliment the wings, saying “They’re cheap, easily available – I think people will find these hot", before adding that the spice hits you straight away: “They’re instantly hot – they get you straight away.”

Despite the impressive heat, they manage to devour almost half a plate of six wings, rating the products 6.5 out of 10 on their heat level.

Although if it's a 6.5 out of 10, god knows what it would be like for the rest of us mere mortals...

Sadly, it seems as if the chicken wings in question are currently out of stock online on the Iceland website , although they are probably still be in stores, with Iceland confirming that stock will return online at some point soon, and in the meantime, customers will probably still find them at their local stores.

If you're brave enough, of course...
