Iceland recalls 'No Cheese' vegan pizzas and pasta over milk allergy fears

A series of vegan products are being recalled by supermarket Iceland as they may contain milk.

Pizzas, pasta and pasties are being pulled from the shelves as they may contain milk which is not declared on the label.

The affected food includes Houmous Pizza, Mediterranean Garden Pizza, Italian Garden Pizza, Macaroni Cheese as well as Cheese and Onion Pasties. All date codes of the products are affected.

Anyone with a milk allergy who has bought the items can return them to the store for a full refund.

Food Standards Scotland said: "Iceland is recalling 'No Cheese' products because they may contain milk which is not mentioned on the labels.

"This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents."

The products can be returned to Iceland for a full refund.
