Iceland launches footlong vegan sausage roll for just £1.50 - perfect for Veganuary

Looking for the perfect afternoon snack to get you through Veganuary - or maybe something to share with friends and family? Well Iceland has just the treat for you. The supermarket has launched a jumbo, footlong vegan sausage roll - for less than £2.

The frozen food retailer have launched No Porkies Footlong Sausage Rolls, costing just £1.50 for a pack of two. They are the ultimate snack for vegans and flexitarians alike for Veganuary this year and are available in-store and online now.

Featuring 12 inches of flaky, golden pastry wrapped around seasoned, plant-based sausage meat that can be cooked in the oven from frozen in just 25 minutes, Iceland’s No Porkies Footlong Sausage Rolls are just the treat for those seeking a better start to 2021.

The 12-inch sausage rolls are long enough to share; although shoppers might not want to once they’ve bitten into this vegan British classic.

Taste buds are also set to tingle at the thought of Iceland’s other vegan launches, like the No Chick Southern Fried Strips (£3, 450g) this January. Each individual bite of vegetable protein is coated in a deliciously crunchy southern fried-style breadcrumb, making them ideal for a flavoursome vegan-friendly snack.

Iceland also recently launched an exclusive frozen Greggs vegan range, including the now legendary Greggs Vegan Sausage Rolls (£2.50, for four) and Greggs Vegan Steak Bakes (£2.50, for two). Both featuring golden layers of crisp puff pastry and a delicious filling of seasoned Quorn, which can be baked any time of day or night for a convenient treat.

Shoppers can also currently pick up two packs of the frozen food retailer’s ever-popular No Bull Quarter Pounder Burgers (£2, 226g) or No Bull Steak-Style Burgers (£2, 226g) for just £3, saving £1 on the offer, which runs until Sunday 17th January.
