And while a UK first, they're definitely an Italian job!
Made just outside of Venice, in the foothills of the Dolomites, Iceland’s Stonebaked Microwavable Pizzas team a light and crispy base with authentic Italian mozzarella and passata to create a truly remarkable microwavable treat.
Priced at just £1, the pizzas are the perfect solution for the culinarily challenged or for a quick meal that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality.
Iceland’s Stonebaked Microwavable Pizzas take just 2 minutes 30 seconds to microwave from frozen, meaning hungry people needn’t even switch on the oven to enjoy authentic Italian meal.
Once cooked, Iceland claim "the crispy, yet doughy, base is something that UK shoppers have never experienced before from a microwavable pizza."
There are branches of Iceland in the likes of Gateshead and Byker.
