Iceland launch retro sweet ice creams and ice lollies including Black Jacks and Fruit Salads

Iceland customers can enjoy a very tasty throwback now the supermarket has launched its own retro sweet ice cream range.

Family favourite, Barratt, has teamed up with Iceland to turn some of its most popular sweets into a range of ice creams and ice lollies, which will launch exclusively into Iceland stores and online on Monday, April 20.

The new nostalgic lollies and ice cream will see shoppers enjoy what must be like the best pick and mix EVER, with Black Jack, Fruit Salad and Flump ice lollies and a Wham Ice Cream Tub all from £2.20.

Iceland apologise after insisting NHS workers would have to buy 'every item they touch'

In true retro-style, there's even a Dip Dab ice lolly with a sachet of sherbet to dab in – just to give that authentic finish to the frozen interpretation of the classic confectionery.

Sally Bennett, Iceland’s Senior Buyer for Ice Cream and Dessert said: “We are really excited to exclusively launch the Barrett’s brand into our Ice Cream range this summer.

"They are a welcome addition to differentiate the Iceland offer from the rest of the market and truly believe that the taste of the classic flavours of Fruit Salad and Black Jack will make our customers smile”

The full price list is as follows: Black Jack Ice Cream Lollies (£2.50); Fruit Salad Ice Cream Lollies (£2.20); Flump Ice Cream Lollies (£2.50); Dip Dab Ice Lollies with a Sachet of Sherbet (£2.50) and Wham Ice Cream Tub (£2.50.
