Iceland launch range of takeaway inspired burgers - for just £1.50

Seeing we’re still unsure as to when ‘normal life’ will return, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring a taste of the takeaway home - and for less than you think. Iceland have launched a range of panini’s, kebabs and frozen burgers that look as good as those from the Golden Arches.

The Snacksters range includes McDonald’s inspired burgers - one called the Big Stack (£1.50 for 204g) and the Spicy Stack (£1.50 for 186g).

The Big Mac-inspired Big Stack Burger is a microwavable meal which include fan-favourite double-cut buns, double burgers, cheese slices and secret sauce. Best of all? They are less than half the price of the real deal.

There’s also a Spicy Stack for those that like a little heat in their burger. This also comes with a double bun and cheese.

To find your nearest Iceland supermarket, we’ve popped the store locator here for ease. You’ll also see opening and closing information listed there as well.

First spotted on the Snack Reviews Facebook group, fast food enthusiasts were excited about the latest frozen food range from the supermarket.

Simply captioned “Iceland”, the Snacksters range has caused quite the stir. With over 750 reactions, 760 comments and shared over 900 times, it’s safe to say we weren’t the only ones excited by the fakeaway option.

One person tagged a friend and said: “we need.”

Another mentioned that they: “looked class”.

A third said: “oh might have to try some of these”

And a fourth said they were “going to order them”, along with “more sausage rolls and chicken bakes” - referring to the impressive range of frozen Greggs items available at Iceland as well.

Multiple followers spoke of their need to visit their local Iceland supermarket to get their hands on them pronto.

There’s also three different types of Snacksters Panini, the Four Cheese Panini, Peri Peri Chicken Panini, and Ham & Cheese Panini. Perfect for feeding to children’s as an afternoon snack or just yourself for a lunchtime treat. These are all priced at £1.50.

For those of us missing that 1am kebab after a night out, you can pick up the Snacksters XL Doner Kebab - priced at £1.25 for 172g, a snip of the price you’d usually pay.
