Looking for a tasty treat this weekend? Or perhaps planning a barbecue with some friends at a social distance? Well look no further than your local Iceland as they’ve just launched a brand new burger and it sounds delicious.
The Luxury Cheeky Cheese Burgers (£2, 284g), which are out now, come in a pack of two and are burgers that push the boundaries of what can be achieved from your average humble beef patty. These burgers have been made using a special blend that shoppers won’t be able to find anywhere else.
As you can probably guess from the name, the supermarket has delicately combined beef cheek meat with premium 100% British beef and Cheddar cheese to create a deliciously unique flavour and a tender, juicy patty that BBQ enthusiasts will most definitely fall in love with the deep savoury-tasting cut.

Beef cheek is used widely across the UK restaurant industry due to its extremely tender bite when slow-cooked but this is the first time it’s ever been blended into a beef patty by a British supermarket.
It works just as well in Iceland’s burgers because its deep flavours match the inclusion of punchy Cheddar, delivering a burger experience like no other. Melt in the mouth goodness at its best.

Originally inspired by the Wisconsin Butter Burger, these patties are much juicier than their regular counterparts, thanks to the chilled butter mixed into the beef blend for an undeniably decadent flavour.
