Iceland is selling McCain unicorn-shaped potatoes for £1 and they look magical

Smileys were a staple food for every 90s and 00s child.

Long before Jamie Oliver transformed school dinners, the friendly-faced potato shapes were served up weekly at lunch time.

Now the humble smiley face has been replaced with a more magical figure.

McCain is now doing unicorn-shaped potatoes, and you can buy a pack in Iceland for £1.

The unicorns are made with real potatoes and can be cooked from frozen pretty quickly - good news for busy parents.

The magical bites come in a colourful yellow packet with illustrations of unicorns, rainbows and smiley-faced clouds all over it.

They are exclusive to Iceland.

Why not make your child's dinner a full unicorn affair with some unicorn-shaped turkey bites.

Priced at £2 a pack, you can buy the Bernard Matthew treats from Tesco.
