If you do not fancy the queues at the various Nando's around Liverpool help is at hand, thanks to Iceland.
The supermarket has launched a 'fakeaway' deal that gets you an entire Nando's combo meal for four, for a fraction of the price of the chicken chain restaurants.
Iceland is selling a meal featuring chicken, a Nando's sauce or marinade and two sides for just £5 - which works out at £13.40 less than the wing platter meal at a Nando's itself, according to the Mirror.
For example it will cost £5 for a pack of chicken wings with skin on (900g for £2), Nando's Peri-Peri Bag and Bake Lemon and Herb for £1, crispy fries for £1 and mini corn cobs for £1.
The wing platter at Nando's gets you 10 chicken wings and two large sides for an extra £13.40.
The deal means families can save money on a trip to Nando's by choosing the budget home-made option instead, at a fraction of the price.
The meal can be made even cheaper by heading to cashback website Quidco, which is offering £10 cashback on an Iceland shop over the price of £35 for all new customers. Current customers get £2 off the price of an order at Iceland - making the Nando's substitute meal just £3 once discounts have been taken into account.
