Iceland is now selling Greggs steak and chicken pies - and they look delicious

Yes, you heard right, Greggs Creamy Chicken Pie and Steak Pie have officially arrived at Iceland - and we can’t contain our excitement.

Available in stores nationwide from today (13th October), the pies can be found in Iceland’s freezer aisles, ready for you to pop in the oven and enjoy at home.

If you can't wait to get your hands on the new pies, we've added a handy locator tool here so you can find your nearest branch.

The new pies are a great addition to the already impressive Greggs range at Iceland which includes sausage rolls, cheese & onion bakes, bacon & cheese wraps and more.

Best of all? You get two delicious pies in one - and they’re just £3 a pack.

To celebrate the launch, Iceland put it to the nation to find out just how Brits like to have their pie and eat it, with a tough call to make between steak or chicken. Steak pies came out on top (55%) over chicken (40%) with Scotland making up for 65% of the vote.

Greggs Steak Pie features flakey layers of crisp puff pastry with a delicious steak filling making for the perfect pre-dinner snack.

Also up for grabs is Greggs Creamy Chicken Pie. The delicious bake is made with succulent chicken breast pieces, coated in a rich and creamy white sauce whilst all encased in golden puff pastry - making them perfect for eating anywhere, at any time.

The creamy chicken pie will also be a favourite among pie and Greggs lovers who shop at Iceland. (Iceland)

According to research conducted by Iceland, many said they’d pair their pie with chips, followed by mash as a close second.

If you’re looking to pair your pie with the perfect side, you can pick up McCain Home Chips (£2.75, 1.36kg) or Aunt Bessie’s Fluffy & Buttery Mashed Potato (£1.65, 650g)

To shop the full Iceland x Greggs range, head here to stock up on your favourites.

Luckily if you're a student, has doubled its student discount to 20% from 10% with no minimum spend until 31 October - so you could pick up the new pies for even less.

To get the discount, student shoppers simply need to show their official student ID at the checkout and sign up to Iceland’s Bonus Card scheme. Iceland’s Bonus Card acts as a saving scheme, giving customers £1 back for every £20 they save on the card.

Loading funds onto your Bonus Card has never been easier with Iceland’s new Bonus Card app, which can be downloaded via Apple and Google app stores, allowing customers to load as much or as little as they would like onto their card.
