Iceland is launching a Halloumi Burger and it looks amazing

Iceland has launched a Halloumi Burger just in time for summer and we can't wait to get our hands on it.

The Halloumi Burger  is made up of a patty of halloumi cheese coated in crispy breadcrumbs, and is £2.50 for a pack of two.

Customers can pick up the burger in store and online now for a limited time , so you'll need to be quick.

It's the only full sized halloumi burger available in UK supermarkets, and what’s more, at 90g per Halloumi Burger, Iceland shoppers get almost 50% more cheese when compared with alternatives from ASDA, Sainsbury's and Tesco - as these supermarkets just offer slices for stacking.

It's perfect for summer as it can be cooked in the oven or on the BBQ from frozen.

You can get it here.

The Brits are a country of halloumi fans, with Brits chowing down on over 2,000 tonnes of the Cypriot delicacy per year. The nation is so obsessed with the cheese that it has become the world’s largest importer of halloumi.

Not sure how to serve your burger? Iceland are suggesting, a brioche bun with mounds of fresh, crunchy salad and a large scoop of  Iceland Houmous (£1.00, 200g)  to complement the deliciously cheesy flavour.

We can't wait to try it!
