Iceland extends vegan range to include steaks, mac and cheese and cottage pie

Iceland just made Veganuary easier with its vegan 2020 range.

The supermarket has extended its plant-based and vegan offerings to help customers out.

Those who miss a steak dinner or pasties filled with cheese can now enjoy vegan alternatives to stop the cravings.

Some of which, Iceland say, are the first of their kind in UK supermarkets.

New No Meat vegan dishes include the No Bull Mushroom Steak, the No Moo Mac and Cheese and No Cheese and Onion Pasty.

Of which is made from flaky pastry filled with decadent melting dairy free cheese and onion.

Other dishes include the No Bull Cottage Pie, a traditional dish which has been re-imagined with plant-based ingredients and a No Chick Sweet & Sour.

The fakeaway includes soya protein, red peppers and pineapple coated in a tangy sweet and sour sauce.

Pasta fans are also in luck, as Iceland is set to launch the No Porkies Bacon Pasta soon too.

What is veganism?
