A national supermarket chain is offering punters the chance to eat burgers - and get paid for the pleasure.
To celebrate National Burger Day , Iceland has opened applications to be the company’s Chief Burger Advisor.
Successful applicants will be given the difficult task of tasting every one of the supermarket’s burger range while providing detailed feedback.
Burger experts have been urged to email through a photograph of themselves, with applicants encouraged to use burger themed props.
Those interested in the position will also have to answer five burger related questions to see if their skills and experience cut the mustard for the position.
The five questions set by the supermarket are:
- In no more than 100 words, tell us why you should be appointed as an official burger taste tester for Iceland.
- If you could only use three burger toppings for the rest of your life, what would they be? (lettuce, tomato and bun excluded, they’re a given).
- What is the best burger you have ever eaten in your life, and why?
- What is the best cooking method for the burger, and why?
- What are your top three favourite Iceland's burgers, and why?

But you’ll have to be quick, as the position closes on September 18.
