Iceland and Tesco issue urgent product recalls - including for Cow & Gate baby food

If you've bought baby food or vegan chocolate puddings recently, you might want to check your cupboards.

That's because the Food Standards Agency has issued urgent product recalls for a range of products, including baby food sold at Tesco and chocolate puddings sold in Iceland.

The alert for more than a dozen varieties of Cow & Gate baby food has been issued amid fears some jars may have been tampered with.

The vegan chocolate puddings are being recalled as they may contain milk.

Tesco - Cow & Gate baby food

Cow & Gate and Tesco are voluntarily recalling 15 varieties of 7+ month Cow & Gate baby food jars (200g).

They are being recalled as a precautionary measure following concerns that some jars may have been tampered with.

The recall only involves these varieties sold in Tesco stores in the UK. No other Cow & Gate, Tesco or other branded baby products are affected.

• Cow & Gate Butternut Squash Chicken & Pasta 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Courgette & Hake Rice 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Yummy Harvest Chicken 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Apple Crumble 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Banana Crumble 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Peach Apple & Kiwi 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Rice Pudding 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Creamy Cauliflower Cheese 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Garden Pea & Turkey 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Potato Spinach & Beef 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Potato & Turkey Roast 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Spaghetti Bolognese 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Succulent Pork Casserole 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Tasty Cottage Pie 7+ months - all batches and date codes

• Cow & Gate Tomato & Courgette Pasta 7+ months - all batches and date codes

The possible tampering of this product may present a safety risk.

Iceland NO MOO Chocolate Puddings

Iceland is recalling NO MOO Chocolate Puddings because they may contain milk which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Product details:

NO MOO Chocolate Puddings (160g). All date codes up to and including July 31, 2021.
