Ice tulips

A visitor takes a photo of an abundance of "ice tulips" in all their glory at Roppongi Hills in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on Thursday. An ice tulip is a flower whose bulb undergoes a special refrigeration process to control when they blossom. Roppongi Hills residents and others have come to tend to the roughly 2,000 bulbs that were planted. The best time to see these flowers will be up until the end of this month.
