Ice Ice Baby in Paisley: 'Mega melting' gourmet toasties and dessert served from shipping container

A shipping container in Paisley is set to become the next go-to lunchtime takeaway serving gourmet toasties and desserts.

Ice Ice Baby is the brainchild of marketing guru Rich Levinson and will be officially launching to the public on April 24.

The shipping container-turned-dessert emporium will be serving up everything from cookie dough, waffles, Porelli's ice cream and protein shakes.

But the thing that's getting us the most excited is the gourmet toasties.

Slice Slice Baby will be bringing 'mega melting' sourdough toastie creations to the masses with drive-thru and takeaway available from the site on Lacy Street.

Owner Rich worked in marketing for Red Bull for nine years before launching his own marketing agency and eventually coming up with Ice Ice Baby.

He told Glasgow Live : "With the effects of covid hitting the hospitality industry I decided to innovate a little and start a covid safe drive thru dessert place in Dumbarton. Sadly the Dumbarton lease fell through and we decided to relocate to Paisley.

"Nestled between Williamsburgh primary school, St John Ogilvie primary school and the Seedhill football complex, we have taken the lease on a property where we launch on Saturday, April 24. We've also teamed up with Mooin, a mobile ordering app, to ensure we stay covid safe."
