People have been spotted gathering to buy ice creams in Cardiff Bay despite lockdown rules saying they can only leave the house to buy essentials or for daily exercise.
Two ice cream vans set up stall in the area in the nice weather even though lockdown measures have been extended.
People visiting the Bay for their daily exercise described it as "crazy".
One wrote: "It was packed at 2pm today. Ice cream vans open. Coffee shop. Sunbathers. No social distancing at all. Crazy."
Police have urged people to stay at home unless it is essential for them to go out or they are taking their daily exercise.
Forces have urged people who have concerns about businesses operating to contact Trading Standards.
Lewis Parsons tweeted directly to South Wales Police: "Just wondering how the CoffeeCo in Cardiff Bay Barrage is allowed to be open?
"Do you patrol down there?
"Yesterday looked like a normal Saturday with the amount of people sat outside there, not exercising or having a short break.
"Surely this place should not be open?"

Jamie McEwan also tweeted: "Ice cream trucks and cafes being open down Cardiff bay is diabolical."
Police forces have been urging people to stay at home across Wales this weekend, and have been especially vocal on social media.
Brecon Policing Unit stopped two people attempting to walk Pen Y Fan this weekend.
In a Twitter post, officers said: "Two persons stopped on the A470 attempting to walk Pen Y Fan.
"COVID-19 tickets were issued and both were advised to return to their home address in BRISTOL. #StayHomeSaveLives #Covid_19 "
Gwent Police also urged people not to travel unless it was essential after several cars were found parked near local beauty spots.
Officers posted the following message on Twitter: "You should not be driving to local beauty spots in order to carry out your daily exercise.
"This is not essential travel."
On Saturday South Wales Police also thanked the people who have been staying home on social media, saying: "We know everyone’s circumstances are different, but please do what you can to abide by government restrictions as part of this extraordinary national effort.
"Everyone who stays at home instead of going out is making a difference by helping to help save lives. Thank you."
