Ice Bar opens in Liverpool for the Christmas season

An Ice Bar has opened in Liverpool for the festive season.

People can wrap up warm, bring a cosy throw and enjoy a drink of their choice surrounded by sparkling sculpted ice and snow covered trees.

The 50sqm bar opened last Friday and people can visit up until January 3, 2022, as part of the Liverpool Ice Festival celebrations.

Tickets are priced at £12 for a 20 minute session, which includes either one free cocktail or mocktail to enjoy. Children are allowed to enter with adults and will also receive a mocktail.

Rob Derry, Managing Director of Events & Event Hire at Arena, which produces the event, said: “Families and couples looking for a more relaxed evening should look no further than this year’s Ice Bar in Liverpool. It’s an experience filled with all things ice and looks fantastic situated next to the Liverpool Ice Festival site.

After last year’s lockdown Christmas period, we wanted to bring the fun back to the region in more ways than ever.”

Tickets for the Ice Bar, situated next to the Liverpool Ice Festival at the Pier Head, are available now, with prices starting at £12 per ticket. For more information and to book tickets, visit the Ice Festival website.

The Liverpool Ice Festival also features a real ice slide, funfair rides, ice skating a Bavarian Food Court and cosy Alpine Bar.
