Daniel Agger signs former Liverpool teammate on two-year contract
Former Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan has a new club and has linked up with one of his former teammates.
Flanagan came through the youth ranks at Anfield, progressing to the first-team before he eventually made 51 appearances for the club.
Having had spells at Bolton Wanderers, Rangers and Burnley on the CV, Flanagan most recently was with Belgian club RSC Charleroi.
Now, though, Flanagan has joined Danish club HB Koge who are managed by former Liverpool centre-back Daniel Agger.
Flanagan has signed a two-year contract and becomes one of Agger’s first signings in his maiden job in senior football management.

Ibrahima Konate makes 'strange' goals admission as new Liverpool partnership begins
Ibrahima Konate expressed his delight at joining the six-time European Cup winners and to play alongside the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah in his first interview with the club since his move from RB Leipzig.
He looks set to feature alongside the Holland captain during the pre-season camp in Austria and has admitted that the returning Dutchman has helped him in his opening week at the club as well as Salah, Sadio Mane and 'long time' friend Naby Keita.
Konate was a welcome addition to the ranks at Anfield after the Reds were struck by injuries last season which saw them field in excess of 20 different defensive partners over the course of the campaign.
And he also made an interesting admission about what to expect from him.
He said: "I can score more with my foot than my head! This is a little bit strange, but this is me.
"I have these qualities - but I have to work again, more, more, more to become a good defender."
