Ibrahima Diallo transferring to San Jose State

We now know where Ohio State big man Ibrahima Diallo will be playing his college ball next. Diallo entered his name in the transfer portal in early May, and it was assumed to be because of him getting lost in the shuffle behind guys like E.J. Liddell, Kyle Young, and Zed Key.

Added to the Ohio State class late in the 2019 recruiting cycle and viewed as a bit of a project with length, Diallo never really carved out a spot in Ohio State’s rotation. There was an injury he had to work through, with other players that were more college-ready receiving the bulk of the playing time.

Diallo is now headed to San Jose State to join former Nebraska head coach and Big Ten Network analyst Tim Miles according to Jeff Goodman of Stadium.

We of course wish Diallo nothing but the best in his future endeavors. He has three years of eligibility remaining if he chooses to take it out in the Bay area of California.
