Ibiza promoters hire party plane to get round no nightclub rule but tickets cost £647

Organisers of Ibiza's nightlife have taken their events 40,000ft higher as they've organised a private party plane to make up for clubs on the island being shut.

The "never done before" party gives revellers the chance to dance while floating in the sky and to the sounds of Jamie Roy and Seb Zito, two of the best DJs in the UK.

Promoters from the Ibiza Underground Movement have booked a private Airbus A321 that will see participants flown from Stansted, London to Zadar, Croatia, on a direct flight.

The move comes after Croatia was officially put on the UK's green travel list, meaning those who return from the country will not have to self-isolate or take any Covid tests to go about their daily lives.

Once in Croatia, the mass Amnesia event that was supposed to take place in Ibiza will be taking over Noa Beach Party, in Novalja.

There are currently 50 remaining tickets that can be purchased online for the eye-watering price of £647.

The £647 ticket includes the party flight and a seven-day pass to the Amnesia festival in Croatia (Instagram)

That includes a ticket for the party plane as well as a seven-day pass to the VIP Amnesia festival in Croatia, which runs from August 30 to September 5.

Speaking to Access, Amnesia Ibizas artistic director Neil Evans said they had been in talks with their Croatian partners since the start of the year, and after visiting the country, they were "absolutely blown away by the possibilities".

He went on: "We knew we had to run parties over here. And the outdoor clubs were, and are, a phenomenal place to party."

Mr Evans said his team decided to go ahead with the partnership after holding an event there at the end of July which left them "so impressed with how safely the clubs operate in Covid times and everything ran super smooth with no difficulties.

"So of course we had to come back soon," he added.

For those unable to make this summer's once-in-a-lifetime event, there is bound to be another festival of the sort planned for Noa Beach on New Year's Eve.
