IBAC charges ex-Victorian school worker

A former Victorian secondary school employee has been charged with deception by IBAC. (AAP)

A former Victorian secondary school worker has been charged after an anti-corruption watchdog probe into allegedly deceptive invoices.

The Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission on Wednesday announced it had charged the employee with 12 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception.

The worker came under IBAC scrutiny in early 2019 over their connection to invoices submitted to the school for services from 2013 to 2019 in St Albans.

They are scheduled to face Melbourne Magistrates Court early next month.
