Ianis Hagi shows Rangers credentials as star catches the eye with stunning Romania assist

Rangers winger Ianis Hagi has impressed on international duty for Romania during their match against Liechtenstein.

The 22-year-old started the match on the wing for Mirel Radoi's side.

Hagi set up the second goal of the game as he delivered a perfect cross for Christian Manea to convert.

The winger cut inside from the left wing and delivered a sumptuous ball to the back post for the right-back to finish.

Hagi, who has earned 19 caps for Romania has impressed at Ibrox since his arrival from Belgian side Genk.

Since signing for the Gers, Hagi has made 64 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 18 assists.

He has also impressed on the international stage as well, with this evening's performance and assist only adding to his impressive displays in recent times.

This season Hagi started in perfect fashion, scoring in the opening day victory for Rangers against Livingston.

Steven Gerrard will be delighted with his performances this campaign, as he fights for a starting spot alongside Scott Wright.

In total this season Hagi has bagged himself two goals and one assist in all competitions.
