Ianis Hagi Rangers appeal as playmaker raves about 'fantastic' fans that could make telling difference

Rangers star Ianis Hagi is desperate for fans to be allowed back into Ibrox.

He joined Rangers in a permanent move this summer after impressing during his loan spell last season, and is currently with Romania on international duty.

Although his club have sold out their season tickets for the 2020/21 campaign, there has been no confirmation as to when supporters will be allowed to return.

The 21-year-old is eager to play in front of them again.

He said: "I have missed the fans, football is much more boring without supporters.

"I really feel that in Scotland especially.

"For me, I cannot wait for the Rangers fans to return to football, because we need them. They are fantastic.

"I enjoyed playing for Romania under our new manager, Mirel Radoi, We pass a lot more now, we are much braver and we defend much higher up the pitch.

"We should have beaten Northern Ireland. We dominated from the first minute, but that's what happens in football sometimes.

"I was able to talk to Steven Davis, my team mate at Rangers, after the game and that was good to meet up with him."
