Ianis Hagi on the stunning Rangers comeback which proves Bayer Leverkusen tie is far from over

Ianis Hagi says writing off Rangers chances in their Europa League last-16 tie with Bayer Leverkusen is a dangerous game.

Steven Gerrard's side are underdogs after a 3-1 home defeat to the Bundesliga outfit in the first leg shortly before football was shut down.

The second leg will take place on either August 5 or 6, just a few days after the Scottish Premiership season gets underway, and Hagi says the tie is still alive.

He said: "For sure, the Europa League games are really special. Not just for me, but everyone.

"We have the second game with Leverkusen. Even though we lost the first game, nothing is over in football. Anything can happen.

"I think we showed everyone when we played the home game with Braga that we can change everything in ten minutes or even less.

"Playing the Europa League will be special so we can't just give up."
