Ianis Hagi joins Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho as Rangers star shows global appeal in ad campaign

Rangers star Ianis Hagi is giving fans in Romania a look at some of his skills after joining the latest Pepsi campaign.

The Romania cap is on the brink of Premiership title glory with Steven Gerrard's men as well as reaching the last 16 of the Europa League.

However, his fellow countrymen may not have caught a glimpse of the 22-year-old recently.

Now he won't be off their screens as he makes an appearance in the campaign from the soft drink giant in his homeland.

The advert sees Hagi juggling balls and Pepsi cans between superstar names like Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho on social media.

He has previously had his face plastered over Pepsi cans as part of a big-money advertising campaign.

While featuring alongside some big names, the forward is being touted with a big price tag amid reports in Romania.

Some pundits claim that a £25 million fee is on the cards, with one pundit claiming former club Fiorentina would be crucified if Rangers receive that kind of cash.

Valeriu Răchită on Pro X said: "If that happens, all of Fiorentina's staff, plus the sporting director and president, will be crucified in the public square in Florence, because they had such a jewel in hand and let him go.

"I would like this to happen (the £25m move), although it seems unlikely."
