Ianis Hagi in shock Rangers transfer clause claim as Lazio and Sevilla asking price 'revealed'

Playmaker Ianis Hagi could leave Rangers this summer after reports of a transfer clause in his contract emerged.

The Romanian international joined Rangers last summer after an impressive loan from Genk, but has been in and out of the team this season as the Ibrox side raced to the title.

Hagi has managed eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions for Steven Gerrard 's side but has started just 21 Premiership games this term, with the latest coming on Wednesday night against Livingston.

However, reports in Hagi's homeland claim that the midfielder could leave the Premiership champions for a staggering £10million this summer due to a release clause in his contract.

Play Tech claim that both Sevilla and Lazio have the 22-year-old on their radar with a view to a summer move, although it's perhaps more likely any potential suitors would attempt to negotiate a lower fee.

Theson of Romania's greatest ever player Gheorghe Hagi, has had a nomadic career so far.

He came through at his father's team Viitorul Constanta, and returned there after a difficult spell at Fiorentina.

Hagi then spent half a season at Genk before making the move to Rangers.
