Ianis Hagi in Rangers transfer exit link as January meeting 'set' for dream Galatasaray move

Rangers star Ianis Hagi is reportedly of interest to Galatasaray, with a meeting set to discuss his future in January.

The Romanian international is seen as a rising star and has already been linked with Serie A giants Roma.

While Rangers will be keen to hang on to the 23-year-old, the club have been open about the fact they need to start bringing in funds via player trading.

And Turkish outlet Sabah Spor is reporting that Galatasaray will meet the Ibrox club to discuss a potential deal in January.

Hagi has been open about his dream to play for the Istanbul club, with his father, Gheorghe, holding mythical status at Gala.

In addition, as pointed out by Sabah Spor, Hagi senior's famous number 10 shirt is currently vacant.

The Rangers star was born in Istanbul while his father was playing for Galatasaray and grew up supporting the club.

In May he admitted: "One day, I'd like to play for Galatasaray.

"It's a club I love, I grew up with that club in my heart. I was born there.

"I don't know what future holds, but I have feelings for that club."
