Rangers will face Real Madrid in a glamour friendly later this month, with the news accidentally leaked by Ianis Hagi on social media.
After winning the Premiership title in front of an empty Ibrox last season, Steven Gerrard's side are gearing up for the return of their fans as coronavirus restrictions begin to ease.
A friendly against English Premier League giants Arsenal has already been scheduled for July 17 but Hagi accidentally revealed an even bigger fixture on the cards.
The Romanian international posted an advert for Rangers TV, urging fans to sign up for a pre-season pass to watch all the games live.
What caught the eye of supporters though was the bottom of the graphic showing the friendlies in the pipeline.
As well as Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool, Arsenal and Brighton there was also a Real Madrid badge on the bottom right.
And that tipped fans off to the fact the 13 time Champions League winners will rock up at Ibrox for a glamour friendly.
Though they ended last season trophyless the Merengues are arguably the biggest club in the world, boasting some of the grandest names in the game.
The likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema all strut their stuff at the Bernabeu, and legendary manager Carlo Ancelotti has just returned to the dugout.
And Rangers quickly confirmed that the Galacticos will be coming to Govan.
"It has seen the club become a name which resonates right around the continent with football supporters of all generations, and this coming year, of course, will see the Light Blues become the first major European club to reach that milestone of 150 years.
"It seems rather fitting, therefore, that the club can today confirm another of Europe’s major clubs as the opposition for the final pre-season fixture for Steven Gerrard’s side.
"13-time Champions of Europe Real Madrid, led by Carlo Ancelotti, will visit Ibrox on Sunday, July 25, as the final test ahead of competitive action beginning six days later on Saturday, July 31."
