Ianis Hagi earns 'super' tag as Rangers playmaker gets seal of approval from international boss Adrian Mutu

Romania Under 21 boss Adrian Mutu has praised Ianis Hagi 's professional attitude, hailing the Rangers midfielder as 'super.'

The Ibrox star has made 14 caps for the Romania senior team, but found himself back with the 21s for their crucial Euro qualifier with Denmark.

And Mutu, who previously starred for Chelsea and Juventus in an illustrious playing career, is delighted to have the 22-year-old back in his ranks.

He said: "Ianis Hagi is a super, professional footballer.

"I have nothing bad to say about him, he came here back to the Under 21s squad with exactly the right attitude.

"He's trained very well. He's not under any special pressure to perform because we all know what we get from him.

"He is part of this team. The important thing for me is that he is enjoying his football here in the camp and at Rangers.

"He has the ability and skill to make the difference in any match he plays."
