Ian Wright sums up how Arsenal dressing room would have reacted to David Luiz's mistakes

Arsenal legend Ian Wright was left fuming on social media after David Luiz's defensive mishaps against Manchester City upon the Premier League's return.

The Gunners returned from a 102-day absence from action following the suspension of the league in mid-March and suffered in their return to action.

Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari were both forced off due to injuries inside the opening 25 minutes, with the latter being replaced by Luiz - who started the match as part of a nine-man substitute bench.

After a bright start to the game, Arsenal found themselves behind when Luiz failed to deal with a routine pass from Kevin De Bruyne, allowing Raheem Sterling to open the scoring.

Early in the second half, Luiz's night took another turn for the worse as he was caught out of position by Gabriel Jesus, conceding a penalty and receiving his marching orders.

De Bruyne subsequently tucked home from the spot, putting Arsenal on course for their first defeat in the Premier League in 2020 and facing an uphill battle in the fight to qualify for European competition.

As Arsenal fans vented their anger on social media, Wright joined them in their anger by quickly issuing three tweets regarding the on-field incidents.

"I'd be fuming in that dressing room after conceding that!!!" his first post read, alongside a number of angry emojis, which was then swiftly followed by 'kmt' and an apt gif.

The Gunners will hope for better fortunes on Saturday when they tackle Brighton, where David Luiz will be unavailable due to suspension.
