Ian Wright sends message to Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah after Arsenal's second goal

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has reacted brilliantly to the link between Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah during the Gunners' FA Cup fifth round match against Portsmouth.

Mikel Arteta's side took the lead late in the first half as Sokratis volleyed home superbly after Nelson's inviting cross and the exciting winger was the provider for Arsenal's second after the restart.

He combined with fellow starlet Nketiah, who tucked home to double Arsenal's lead and put the North London side on the brink of being the first side in the hat for Wednesday's quarter-final draw.

At times this season, the pair have gone under the radar with Nelson struggling with injuries and Nketiah spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Leeds United.

However, both showed their class for the Gunners on the Monday night clash and Wright, Arsenal's second all-time leading scorer, reacted as many fans would.

Posting on social media, he wrote: "That's it @ReissNelson9," - along with a phone emoji and Nketiah's own handle, referencing a goal celebration that Arsenal fans have become accustomed too.

Arsenal have defeated Leeds United and Bournemouth in the FA Cup so far this season and will know they would be just one win away from a trip to Wembley if they hold out against Portsmouth.
