Ian Wright has issued his congratulations to Leeds United after ending 16-years outside the Premier League.
West Brom's 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town on Friday night brought an end to Leeds' time in the English Football League, after relegation in 2004.
With the Baggies having only one game left to play, they now sit four points adrift of Leeds, promoting Marcelo Bielsa's side back to the Premier League.
Leeds can confirm the Championship title on Saturday if Brentford fail to beat Stoke City at 12:30pm.
Otherwise, a point against Derby County will confirm the trophy will head to Elland Road.
With a whole generation of Leeds supporters yet to see their club on Match of the Day.
However, Messrs Wright, Lineker and Shearer will be pouring over Marcelo Bielsa's side on a regular basis come September.
Of the three usual pundits, Wright became the first to welcome the arrival of Leeds.
He wrote: "Congratulations @lufc"
Wright himself backed Leeds United to earn promotion to the Premier League in January after their impressive performances at Arsenal in the FA Cup.
The Whites lost 1-0 in the third round of the competition but impressed after dominating their Premier League hosts in the first half.
Wright predicted Leeds would return to top-flight and six months later he has been proven right.
"I thought all that stuff that happened with Derby was fascinating when you see how his (Bielsa) brain works," Wright told the BBC ahead of kick-off at the Emirates.
"I've watched Leeds, I've seen Leeds a lot of times, they're an exciting team and it should be a game they're really looking forward to.
"I fancy Leeds to come up this year and this is a game they should be looking forward to in order to make an impression."
