Ian Wright sends brilliant message to Bukayo Saka as Arsenal wonderkid shines vs Frankfurt

Bukayo Saka is the talk amongst Arsenal supporters following a brilliant showing in the 3-0 Europa League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 18-year-old was one of three academy products handed a start by Unai Emery against the Bundesliga outfit.

And two of them combined for the opening goal as Saka claimed an assist for Joe Willock's strike which took a wicked deflection before looping up and over Kevin Trapp before finding the back of the net.

It was in the second half where Saka really took centre stage.

Firstly opening his account at senior level with a superb curling effort after collecting a pass from Nicolas Pepe to double the Gunners' lead and then registered another assist on the night after teeing up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Given the hostile atmosphere inside the Commerzbank-Arena, Saka along with Willock and Emile Smith Rowe deserve plenty of credit for showing maturity throughout the game.

Fans will be excited to watch these players develop into top players and most of the post-match reaction is likely to centre around Saka.

Taking to social media to reflect on a stunning individual performance, Saka couldn't hide his delight.

"Dream come true to score for Arsenal and to get 2 assists tops of a special night," he wrote on Twitter.

Saka's showing earned huge praise from Gunners legends Ian Wright and Martin Keown

Firstly, Wright responded to Saka's tweet with a classy message.

While Keown made bold claim about the youngster and club record signing Nicolas Pepe.

"They toyed away trying to get young players in and they have found one in Saka," Keown said on BT Sport. "You think of the way Pepe is playing at the moment and they paid £72million for him, and this kid looks better than him tonight.

"By the way, Willock as well gets the reward and breakthrough moment for him. He gets a bit lucky but that is all 100 per cent the academy there.

"Yes they rode their luck. There were three or four good chances for Frankfurt tonight, but they kept going.

"And when he gets the ball here, the young kid Saka, look at this for composure, he's passed that into the goal - it's a beautiful finish.
