Ian Wright’s reaction to Arsenal’s loss vs Tottenham in the north London derby

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has taken to social media to react to Arsenal’s loss against Tottenham in the north London derby.

The game couldn’t have started better for the Gunners when Alexandre Lacazette put the ball into the top corner from outside of the area in the 16th minute of the match.

That goal was met with delight from Arsenal fans, including Wright himself, with the former striker caught on camera celebrating the opening goal of the game.

However, them celebrations only lasted for three minutes, when Son Heung-min capitalised on a mistake in the Arsenal defence to draw Spurs level.

Sead Kolasinac’s poor pass back to David Luiz left the Brazilian flat-footed, which allowed Son to get by the defender and put the ball beyond Emiliano Martinez in the Arsenal goal.

That was how the score stayed until late in the game.

However, Spurs would complete the turnaround with around 10 minutes of the match left to play.

Toby Alderweireld rose the highest to put Jose Mourinho’s men into the lead from a Son Heung-min corner.

The loss leaves Arsenal in ninth place in the league, two points adrift of Tottenham.

Following the match, Wright took to social media, posting a picture of actor Will Smith looking disappointed in an Arsenal kit.

The picture sums up feelings felt by Arsenal fans around the world.
