Ian Wright's pal lets slip he's 'scared of everything' amid I'm A Celebrity rumours

Mark Bright has let slip that his pal Ian Wright is "scared of everything" amid speculation he is taking part in this year's I'm A Celebrity.

The football pundit may have got his former Crystal Palace teammate up for the first Bushtucker Trial with the hilarious confession.

On today's Good Morning Britain, presenter Ben Shephard asked Mark what advice he would give Wrighty if he was going into the jungle.

Brighty cheekily replied: "I'd vote for him to do every task."

The former footballer added: "He's scared of the dark. He's scared of everything."

Mark also told the shocked GMB presenters that Ian "sleeps with the light on".

The giggling pundit joked: "I don't want to go into too much detail."

Making sure he did not confirm anything, Mark quickly added: "If he went in!"

Kate Garraway, who is also rumoured to be entering the jungle, also came in for a grilling.

Revealing her fears, Kate said: "Everything. Absolutely everything. I don’t like heights, I don’t like enclosed spaces, I don’t like spiders, I don’t like snakes."

The GMB host then joked she was nervous about meeting Wrighty because of his fear of the dark.

Ian was mercilessly teased by Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker on Saturday night's show.

After asked him about 'passing all the trials', Gary said: "You all right Ian? I'm not bugging you?"

A not too subtle Gary then remarked how Norwich City had 'come out of the jungle that is the Championship,' - causing Ian to burst into laughter.

At the end of the show, Gary told viewers: "Wrighty's off to eat leaves."

Ian and Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway are just two of the names on the rumoured list of celebrity contestants this year.

Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner, former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle and Rak Su singer Myles Stephenson could be heading to the jungle.

Other speculated names include Corrie actor Andrew Whyment and ex-EastEnder Jacqueline Jossa.
