Ian Wright questions three decisions Ralf Rangnick made in Manchester United vs Wolves

Ian Wright has questioned three Ralf Rangnick decisions and claimed 'nothing has changed' at Manchester United since the German took over.

Having clocked up wins over Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Burnley, Rangnick saw his unbeaten start halted by Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Joao Moutinho's late drive secured a 1-0 win for Bruno Lage's side on a poor night for United.

Bruno Fernandes had an opportunity to open the scoring after being brought off the United bench, but he could only manage to rattle the crossbar.

During his post-match analysis for Premier League Productions, former Arsenal striker Wright took aim at Rangnick for picking two defensive midfielders — Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic.

Wright also claimed Fernandes ought to have started and was baffled when Mason Greenwood was replaced.

Wright said: "I'm confused as to what Rangnick is trying to do in terms of trying to control a game. You're not going to control a game with McTominay and Matic in the midfield, for me. It's a game I don't know why Bruno Fernandes didn't start. We saw the impact he had.

Do you agree with Wright's claim? Have your say in the comments section below.

"Man United at Old Trafford should be controlling a game. Why they need two holding midfielders of the same kind of ilk is confusing, for me.

"Surely, at Old Trafford, you have got to be progressing the ball to [Edinson] Cavani, [Cristiano] Ronaldo, [Jadon] Sancho and Greenwood — who I still can't believe came off.

"Put pressure on these teams. Honestly, I'm not seeing anything different, nothing different at all."
