Ian Wright predicts Man City's most difficult remaining fixtures in Premier League title race

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has predicted how the Premier League title race will go and has earmarked the two fixtures that could cost Man City the league to Liverpool.

The Reds are currently top of the table by a single point having played a game more than City and as the league returns following the international break it looks set to be an intense end to the campaign.

Wright, appearing on Premier League Today, was asked to predict the results of each of the two team's remaining fixtures and his predictions end up with Liverpool claiming their first ever Premier League trophy by just a point.

The former striker reckons that Liverpool will only drop two more points with a 2-2 draw against Tottenham, whereas he thinks City will also draw to Tottenham and away to fierce rivals Manchester United.

Clearly earmarking Spurs and United as City's two toughest fixtures.

“One point, they’ve done it by one point!” Wright said of Liverpool predicted title victory.

“Well that’s what I’m hoping [that it goes down to the last day].

“I’m really pleased with that because I genuinely believe Tottenham will draw against both of them. And I think the Manchester derby at that stage of the season is going to be so intense.

“I can see maybe a draw for Manchester City there as well at United.

Three pundits explain why Liverpool FC will win Premier League title over Man City

“Even just seeing with the champions mark makes me really excited.

“You know my predictions are not a million miles away, I get a lot of correspondence saying ‘you were right, you were right’.

“I hope I’m right, but I can’t see Man City losing too many, I just can’t see them losing too many.

“This is the pressure that both of them are under right now, with massive games in and around it.”
