Ian Wright makes blunt Rafa Benitez claim and sends Farhad Moshiri message after Everton defeat

Ian Wright has claimed Rafa Benitez’s time at Everton could be up following their defeat at Norwich on Saturday.

The Toffees were 2-0 down by half-time after Michael Keane put the ball in his own net, and moments later Adam Idah doubled the home side’s advantage.

Richarlison reduced the arrears after the break with a spectacular overhead kick, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.

The loss left the Toffees 15th in the Premier League table, with one win from their last 13 top flight matches.

The Blues are now just six points clear of the relegation zone.

“You can’t go to Norwich and lose that way," Wright told Premier League productions .

“Unfortunately for Benitez, there might be no way back for him.

“It remains to be seen what Moshiri does and who he wants to bring in because this decision has not worked out.”

Next up for the Toffees is a crucial home game against Aston Villa next Saturday.
